Our Mission Statement

                 Our mission at Walnut Grove United Methodist Church is to make disciples for Jesus Christ!!!

We strive to make disciples by:

               - Providing opportunities to fellowship with other believers

                       and to worship God together

               - Counseling hurting souls in their sadness

               - Helping others journey with Christ

               - Ministering to youth and children, teaching them God's

                          Word

               - Providing Christian study opportunities

               - Reaching out and opening our arms to all

               - Giving living water to the lost, thirsty and unsaved

               - Giving hope and spiritual help to a busy world

               - Giving food and clothing to the needy and helping to

                        make life better for them

               - Showing this community and county how to change

                          and do things differently

               - Providing a light and an example of Jesus Christ and His

                           love

                - Serving others in Christ's love

                - Preaching the Word of God and teaching it so all will

                           know Him

                - Be a light for other churches in our area
